Resilience is the ability to adapt to new challenges, manage stress, and recover from adversity without physical, mental, or emotional distress. Resilience is a set of skills that can be cultivated: join me and learn together!
Session One: Decision Making for a New Breast Cancer Diagnosis, Tuesday 6/25 4=5pm PT
If you have had an abnormal mammogram, ultrasound, and breast biopsy, and are looking at surgery and oncology consultations, or if you are trying to decide about going to your doctor for evaluation, the decision cascade can be overwhelming.
Learn from Dr. Laura, naturopathic breast oncologist, how to make the best decisions for YOU if you have been recently diagnosed with (or if you suspect you may have) breast cancer.
- Review and understand the conventional cancer pathway from start to finish.
- Talk though different decision points (fertility, surgeries, treatment options).
- Understand medical terms (biopsies, biomarkers, genetic testing) that impact your health choices.
- Learn about integrative options that support your body, and how to build an integrative roadmap that complements conventional cancer treatment.
This workshop is a safe space offering encouraging, supportive information and strategies.
