About This Event: This summer, House of Shine invites you to join Summer Streak — a summer-long experience designed to help you build momentum around something that genuinely lights you up. Inspired by our 100-Day Challenge, Summer Streak invites you to dive deep into a hobby or interest, follow your curiosity, and commit to doing something that gives you energy. The goal is not perfection or performance, but exploration, discovery, and seeing where consistent action can take you.

Rooted in the SHINE Framework, Summer Streak helps participants better understand their Strengths, Hobbies, Interests & Irritants, Needs, and Experiences while turning that self-knowledge into action. Along the way, participants build discipline, practice reflection, and begin to see how the things they love can connect to purpose, contribution, and growth.

Inspired by the work of Cal Newport and Chris Guillebeau, Summer Streak is grounded in the belief that meaningful growth happens when we take our interests seriously and give our passions room to develop. What makes this experience so special is the possibility. You do not need to know exactly how it will unfold to begin.

Not Sure Where to Start? Start with one simple thing you can do every day that fuels curiosity, growth, and joy. It could be picking up one piece of trash a day, snapping a photo of something beautiful, writing one sentence, trying one new recipe, or practicing a skill that interests you. Anything goes, as long as it lights you up.

So, are you ready to dive into a hobby or interest of your own? Over the course of your Summer Streak, you will be doing exactly that.

Please Note: Summer Streak is a self-paced virtual experience that runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. While participants were encouraged to begin on May 25, registration will remain open through July 31 for anyone who would still like to join. Eventbrite may list the event time as 12:00–1:00 PM, but you do not need to begin during that specific window. Participants can register, choose one Hobby or Interest, and move through the experience at their own pace throughout the summer.
