Summer Solstice: Sound Bath and NeuroSomatic Flow - Flow, Feel & Heal

Welcome to our Summer Solstice event! Whether you are coming solo, bringing your partner, bestie or a group to experience this event together, we hope you'll join us for wellness, relaxation, movement, meditation and a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection. This event is all about helping you flow, feel, and heal as we celebrate the Summer Solstice. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with your body and mind in a unique and transformative way!

The pinnacle of solar energetic peak is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year and a time of heightened solar energies. In many cultures, the summer solstice holds spiritual significance as a time for renewal, transformation, and healing.

NeuroSomatic Flow™ and Sound Healing are both modalities of somatic healing. In this innovative event you will have the opportunity to learn how these two modalities can be incorporated to promote mind-body connection and energetic healing. These practices will help you learn new ways to feel more grounded and connected to yourself and others through movement, vibration and sound.

NeuroSomatic Flow™: NeuroSomatic Flow™ is a unique somatic healing modality based on reclaiming the wisdom of the body and creating new ways of being through new patterns of moving. We will be utilizing the “flow art” prop of poi. Participants will learn simple poi moves that they can expand on. This is not a poi skills class, but a class to learn how to utilize poi as a therapeutic tool. The goal is to help individuals learn about the fundamentals of neuroscience and flow movement while having fun!

Sound Healing: A Sound Bath, or Sound Healing, is a method of healing that helps us create energetic balance in our energy centers. Sound Healing utilizes frequency and vibration to heal the mind, the body and the spirit. We will use several sound instruments in the Sound Bath, including Crystal and Tibetan bowls, Koshi Chimes and others.

Participants have reported the following benefits from Somatic Energy Healing:

  • Relief from anxiety, depression and self-sabotage
  • Creative FLOW is unlocked and stuck energy is cleared and released
  • Reduced negative energy and emotions
  • Improvements in circulation, sleep and overall stress levels
  • Strengthened intuition and mind-body connection

This event is co-facilitated by two Clinical Social Workers. Mariah Hofmeister, LCSW, is a certified facilitator of NeuroSomatic Flow™ and Jennifer Williams, LCSW, is a certified Sound Healer.

Our events are co-hosted by The East Side Art Institute, a local Boulder County non-profit. Their mission is to explore the art of being human through art-based education and experiences that encourage self-expression. Check out this amazing organization here: https://eastsideartinstitute.org/
