Summer Solstice 2026

Did you know that on summer solstice the sun makes its longest journey across the sky making it the longest day of the year? This day has been celebrated by many cultures throughout history and marks the beginning of summer!

Join us on Riverbend’s preserve for summer fun! We’ll have a wine garden for the adults, activities for the kids, pretzels and water ice, a bonfire and s’mores, and live music. Groups are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair and pack their own picnic dinner.

At 8:30pm, everyone is invited to the top of the hill to watch the sunset and officially welcome summer!

Riverbend is a proud partner of Leave No Trace. Please remember to pack out what you pack in. We hope to see you there!

Tickets: $35 per family/group is required for event admission
