Join Kalispell artist Sydney Boveng as she walks you through her fundamentals of maintaining a joyful relationship with your sketchbook. In this free two-hour outdoor workshop, you will experiment with playful markmaking, drawing en plein air from observation, and conquering the fear of a blank page. In the setting of a small and intimate group, Sydney will show you some of her favorite ways to find joy in the sketchbook, and nurture a state of mindfulness and presence while drawing.
