Summer Series for Kids: Copper Creations

Carve designs into copper sheets using wooden tools in this hands-on workshop inspired by the ancient artwork of the Hopewell culture.

Participants are encouraged to visit Mounds, Moon, and Stars after the workshop. This exhibit, organized by the Great Circle Alliance, explores the ceremonial sites we now call the Newark Earthworks and the astounding expertise of those that built them.

This program is designed for children ages 5-12 and their grown-ups. Chaperones are required to stay for the duration of the workshop so please reserve tickets for both you and your child(ren). Registration cost includes daily admission. Located at the Lodge.
