Concord Food Co-opConcord, NH
Wednesday, June 3  •  4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Overview

Stop by the Concord Food Co-op to sample summer inspired recipes from Renee Plodzik's cookbooks "Eat Well, Move Often, Stay Strong"!

In this drop-in recipe sampling, Renee Plodzik will showcase her Chocolate Cherry Smoothie recipe as well as her Apricot and Coconut Energy Bites recipe. There will be recipes to take home and ingredient bundles available for purchase to make these delicious snacks at home! Renee's cookbooks will also be available for purchase with proceeds going to her nonprofit Fit4acause.

Renee is a local nurse practitioner at Internal Medicine and Hospice Care, and the author of two plant-based, seasonal cookbooks focused on local produce. She's also the founder of Fit4acause, a non-profit supporting individuals affected by cancer through movement, nutrition, and community. She leads a weekly donation-based fitness program to help sustain this work.

Her recipes focus on simple, nourishing foods—from naturally sweet treats made with dates, nuts, and seeds to quick smoothies, soups, salads, and dressings.
