Summer Pruning Workshop

Summer is the time to prune many iconic spring-blooming shrubs, like azaleas and lilacs. Join Briar for a hands-on workshop to learn about summer pruning, as well as rejuvenation pruning for large or mature shrubs. Participation in the spring pruning workshop is not required to attend the summer session.

This class is outdoors so please dress for the weather. Gloves and tools will be provided. If you have your own pruners, loppers, or handsaw that you would like to use please bring it along with you. Parking can be found in our visitor parking lot and participants will meet for the workshop at the Facilities Management Building.
