<H4>Developing Mindsets for Deeper Learning</H4>
This session is focused on developing academic mindsets for deeper learning, as defined by Hewlett Deeper Learning Competencies. We will focus on how to scaffold student reflection-including ongoing and various types of learning activities, incorporating peer feedback, and assessment for student growth. CraftED Curriculum tips and tools will be shared to ensure participants leave feeling ready and excited to facilitate meaningful student reflection and increase student ownership over learning!  
Objectives:

<LI>Participants will interact with academic/growth mindset language</LI>
<LI>Participants will be exposed to various strategies and activities for student reflection</LI>
<LI>Participants will plan a high-quality student reflection activity</LI>

<LI>Collectively define “mindset of a champion”-block party protocol</LI>
<LI>Introduction/review of growth/academic mindset language</LI>
<LI>Introduce CraftED resource 5 W’s of Reflection and planning guide</LI>
<LI>Play time to plan</LI>
<LI>Wagon wheels feedback protocol</LI>
<LI>Reflection and exit ticket</LI>
