Join us for a week of hands on Making and learning at the Rural Action's Community Makerspace Make-It Camp! Campers will spend the week doing STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) based activities and service projects including building bird nest boxes for the Nest Watch program.

Campers will learn ancient and modern survival skills and self guided skill building exploration! There will be time each day for campers to pick a skill to work explore in the sewing, tech, and wood shops where they can learn more about 3D printing, sewing, fiber arts, and woodworking. We will also learn skills like fire building with a bow drill, how to create plant cordage and leather working. We will spend our final day (Friday) at the West Side Park working on map reading and compass skills and viewing our nest boxes in action!

-Campers should bring a water bottle and packed lunch each day. Some healthy snacks will be provided.
