Prof. Wright spent 10 weeks expounding this single chapter for his students in Oxford, and now he’s bringing this exploration and expertise to Waco, Texas. Join with church leaders and fellow believers to learn with Prof. Wright and experience Romans 8 as an anchor text to life with Christ. It plunges us into the complex world of sonship and suffering. It is simultaneously one of the most challenging and the most cheering of biblical chapters.In concluding the central section of Paul’s most famous letter, it rounds off the exposition of justification and salvation, shows how all God’s ancient promises come true in the Messiah and the Spirit, and thereby raises the questions to which the rest of the letter responds.
