Our friends from City Fruit will be teaching a free summer fruit tree pruning class. Get hands on practice and guidance!

New Start Community Garden

<p>      Summer pruning is an important part of fruit tree maintenance! Come learn how to take care of your fruit trees from the experts at City Fruit. We will see how, where, why, and when to prune certain trees and then have a chance to practice in the Shark Garden orchard. Now, in late spring, we will be looking primarily at cherries, plums, and stone fruit, but you can ask questions about your other trees too.</p><p>      We  will provide expert guidance and the tools of the trade for practice. You can bring sturdy shoes, garden gloves, and weather appropriate clothing. We will be out in the orchard during the whole class. Masks are optional.</p>
