About this event

You no longer need to be a Columbus State student to schedule and take our EMT and Paramedic Refresher courses.

Our refresher courses meet Ohio and National Registry requirements.

Any EMT Paramedic with a specific recertification requirement question should contact the State of Ohio EMS at (614) 466-9447 or visit ems.ohio.gov and look at continuing education requirements.

Disclaimer: Courses are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Decisions will be made 1 week prior to each course. There is no specific text required; you should have access to a current standard textbook at your level of training. All classes are held in the GA building located at 375 Grant Ave 43215.

Where do I park?

On campus parking is available. Each parking lot has Parking.com signage with directions to pay for parking. It is recommended to download the Parking.com app on your smart phone. Do I have to register for each class under this course?

No. Once you register for the initial course of September 6, 2024. You will automatically be entered for the remaining classes of the program. Which are June 8, 9, 15, 16 and Practical June 22
