Summer Drummer Camp (afternoon)

Welcome to an inclusive, adaptive, and community building drumming experience this summer! Join us for a fun-filled morning of beats, rhythms, and grooves at our Summer Drummer Camp. If you are a person with a disability aged 14 and older, this camp is perfect for you. Our talented instructors will guide you through various techniques and styles, work with you as you learn to drum collaboratively with others, and rehearse parts for a week end performance. Summer Drummer Camp will be a supported environment with a heavy staff to student ratio. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to jam out with fellow music lovers in person. See you there!

What disabilities do you serve?

Any disability category is welcome! We focus more on level of support. Due to a shortage of volunteers, we cannot provide 1 to 1 support this year. However, if you have questions the easiest thing to do is email us! Send a message to Ray at ray@nelsonadvocacy.com.

Will you have one to one support?

I wish we had enough volunteers to provide one to one support for every child. However, we are happy to coordinate with aides and attendants in order to make sure your child can be included in the experience. It's best to send an email to discuss to Ray@NelsonAdvocacy.com.
