A 3-week creative media lab for teens at Kasher Gallery & Studios in Northport, NY

Choose Your Creative Track
Photography • Videography • Digital Art & Illustration • Animation • Graphic Design—or mix and match!
Week 1: Explore
Tuesday, August 11–Thursday, August 13
Experiment with every creative track through hands-on stations covering camera basics, iPad drawing, Canva design, introductory animation and more. Supervised photo walks through Northport Village will offer additional inspiration. By Thursday, each student will select the project they would like to develop.
Week 2: Make
Tuesday, August 18–Thursday, August 20
Students will receive dedicated studio time and one-on-one mentorship as they begin developing their chosen projects. Creative prompts will help keep ideas flowing, with optional peer critiques available for students who would like feedback.
Week 3: Show
Tuesday, August 25–Thursday, August 27
Students will complete their pieces and, with the group, learn how to mat and frame their work at no additional cost. Their finished pieces will then be displayed in a real gallery exhibition!
The program concludes on Thursday, August 27, with a community reception celebrating the students’ work. Families and friends are warmly invited to attend.
