Summer Creative Camps

ONE Arts fosters creativity and community building by offering art classes to children and adults, as well as providing artists spaces to work and places to show their work. We also provide musicians a space for rehearsal as well as performance opportunities and create unique art experiences. We have several different and distinctive locations in Burlington, VT. Our oldest is the ONE Arts Center, located at 72 North Champlain St where we have been renting artist studios, providing exhibition opportunities, and offering art classes for children and adults since 2014. The ONE Arts Center alsoprovides acasual place for events, meetings, classes, and parties. The other locations are Flynndog Gallery, Flynndog Project Space, which is a co-working space forart professionals, Flynndog Paper Studio, where we teach paper making workshops, and Flynndog Station, which provides another space for showing art, supports local musicians, and also serves as an event hall. All of the Flynndog spaces are located in the converted former train station at208 Flynn Ave. We are always keeping our minds open to new opportunities to serve and support artists and our community through art.

Camps at the Art Center are focused on fun, and all the different ways an artist can express themselves. We spend our time making art projects in a variety of media, practicing drama, story telling, dancing, playing organized games, as well as having free imaginative play time. If weather permits, we go to a local park after lunch. We’re flexible too! You can register your child for a week of creativity or just select the days you need. Our camps are for ages 5-11. After signing up, please fill out the online <A HREF="https://oneartscenter.com/registration-form/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">registration form</A> at www.OneArtsCenter.com to provide us with important allergy and emergency information for your child.
Taught by Sarah Adelaide. Sarah is a Vermont born and raised artist. She studied fine art and painting at RISD. Currently Sarah's work combines her love and knowledge of the natural world with her passion for creation. She loves teaching art with organic materials, and has had much success teaching Arts and WildCrafts with children. Sarah is an active painter who makes her own pigments and also teaches in the community.
What to pack: Weather appropriate clothes, as well as sunscreen and/or sun hats for our trips to the park. Please pack lunch with additional snacks and a large water bottle or other drink. 
Time: Full days are 8:30am - 3pm with the option to extend care to 5:15pm The half day is 11:30am - 3pm with the option to extend care to 5:15pm 
Rates: Half Day rates 11:30-3pm: $35 per child, $30 for Members, and $15 for siblings Day rate 8:30-3pm: $60 per child, $50 for Members, and $30 siblings Weekly rate (covers 5 full days): $250, $150 for siblings Extended care 3-5:15pm: $20 per day, $10 siblings
