About this event

  • 2 hours

This event is the season grand finale of our series around economic empowerment, Women. Work. Wealth. Let's celebrate the contributions of outstanding women entrepreneurs! The theme of this event is "Bridging the Opportunity Gap."

Talent is distributed evenly, but opportunity is not.

Enjoy a fireside chat with successful entrepreneur and MDW Fund scholarship recipient, Erin Carpenter of Nude Barre, who shares her story of building wealth through entrepreneurship as an underrepresented founder. Also enjoy cocktails/mocktails at an open bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, and an afterparty at the Yale Club's famous rooftop bar. Mingle with fellow NYC professionals while learning more about our non-profit's cause: supporting women of color entrepreneurs and bridging the opportunity gap.

Since 2017 the Million Dollar Women Fund (MDW Fund) has helped over 140 women of color entrepreneurs from across the country gain access to business training, powerful networks, mentors and the capital they need to scale up their businesses. All proceeds to benefit MDW Fund.

Special thanks to 1919 Investment Counsel for sponsoring this event.
