Enjoy cocktails and conversations at this late-night summer art walk! This walking tour will start at 21c Chicago and walk to the Chicago River to view the media projections at Art on the Mart. Enjoy the beauty of classic Chicago architecture along the way.

Start at 21c to view our current Elevate exhibitions - Continental Breakfast by Betsy Odom and Working the Flow by Selina Trepp. Both artists will be present to speak about their work. Then we’ll take a walk on the iconic Chicago River Walk and view the world-famous Art on the Mart contemporary art installation featuring projection projects by Cory Arcangel and Yinka Ilori.

Elevate at 21c presents temporary exhibitions of works by artists living and working in the communities surrounding each 21c Museum Hotel. Elevate provides hotel guests and visitors with unique access to the work of notable regional artists, while featuring their work in the context of 21c’s contemporary art space.

ART on THE MART is the one of the world’s largest digital art platforms that transforms an architectural landmark into a permanent, larger-than-life canvas. A shining example of Chicago’s long-standing commitment to public art, ART on THE MART brings cutting-edge video mapping techniques to Chicago’s Riverwalk, displaying projections of contemporary art across the 2.5-acre façade of THE MART, the largest privately held commercial building in the United States, internationally recognized as a global innovator in culture, design, and technology.

**Please note it is a 15-minute walk from 21c Chicago to Art on the Mart.
