Overview

The Summer ’24 Golf & Networking Tournament is a #club-apple-golf group golf outing in which members get to golf and network with other #club-apple-golf golfers, family and friends.

Logistics

• Location: The Course at Wente Vineyards, 5040 Arroyo Road, Livermore, California 94550
• Date: Sunday, 7/5/24
• Shotgun Start Time: 12:30pm
• Registration Cost: $215/player
• Tournament Format: Team Scramble
• Max # of Players: 128 (32 scramble teams)
• Each Registration Includes: Range Balls, Entry Into On-Course Contests, On-Course Meal/Snacks, & Post-Tournament Snacks & Refreshments

Format: 4-person Scramble

• 4-person scramble
• Two Flights based on team handicap: Flight A & Flight B
• --- Flight A: >15 (estimated), White Tees (Men) & Red Tees (Women)
• --- Flight B: <=15 (estimated), Blue Tees (Men) & White Tees (Women)
• --- Final Flight demarcations will be determined by tournament committeed based on handicap distribution of all teams.
• Net scoring will be assigned per team based on their team handicap allowace
• Prizes for Gross Total Score & Net Handicapped Score in each flight
• --- Don't have a GHIN handicap? No worries *for now*, please fill out your registration appropriately and contact koreylsewell@gmail.com for accomodations.
• --- If no GHIN, you will be asked to provide one later or use an online tool/process to project an handicap. This is to ensure pace of play and a fun, inclusive tournament for all golfers.

Registration

• Intended audience for this event are: #Club-apple-golfers, family, friends, and any invited guests
• Registrants may register as a single player, 2-players (half-team), or 4-players
• Singles & Half-Team Registrations are welcome to play and will be matched with teammates

• Please be aware, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS on registration payments.

• 2 Closest To Pins(CTP) - 1 on the front 9 , 1 on the back 9
• 2 Long Drive - 1 on the front 9 , 1 on the back 9
• Awards for Individual & Net Scores in Both Flights

PAYMENTS

• Because of waitlist + high-demand for this event as well as the course deadlines for payment, Tournament Payments are due on 5/27/24. Any unpaid entries after that point are subject to be replaced by waitlisters.

LIVE DETAILS

• Upon tournamnet registration, you will be given access to the "LIVE INFORMATION " Google Sheet which will contain details of teams, flights, handicap allowances, golfer confirmation and all information for the day of the tourney.

Cause

Charitable proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the 2012 Girls ‘pre-NPL’ Team of the Newark Soccer Club. This team is a competitive girls soccer team based in Newark, CA featuring 13 girls born in 2012 or later.

• Parents and family from the soccer team have volunteering their time and resources to facilitate and staff this tournament with #club-apple-golf.
