This baking camp will introduce young children to different baking styles and techniques. The camp is very hands-on, and encourages children to learn to follow recipes and get creative. The kids will get comfortable mixing doughs, understanding yeast, cutting, shaping and decorating.
Day 1-
Soft sugar cookies- melt in your mouth deliciousness!
- We will crack, mix, shape and bake these soft, cakey cookies.
- We will decorate with icing and sprinkles.
Day 2
Ice cream cone chocolate pops-
- We will make chocolate balls from scratch.
- We will use mini ice cream cones, melted chocolate and sprinkles to assemble these fun desserts!
Day 3-
S'mores Hand Pies-
- We will make pie dough from scratch, roll and cut.
- We will make S'mores filling for our hand pies.
- We will assemble the hand pies and bake delicious golden brown treats.
Day 4-
Who doesn’t love fresh Bread?
- We will start the day by learning about bread, the ingredients and the magic that goes into creating this lovely staple food.
- We will shape our own loaves of Challah (a wonderful egg bread), proof and bake them.
- We will make Pizzas for lunch.
