I'm an artist and just want to perform my work on the mic, can I?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as your artistic offering is EROTIC. If you have a vegan poem that doesn't include  bodies  intertwined raw, we'll pass. If you have an original rap song that is not clearly related to our subject and vibe, no thank you. Our open mic has a VERY clear lane as referenced above ❤️

Question 2

It's dinner time, can we bring food?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Outside food is allowed. However, outside drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are prohibited. Our resident bartender and poet will be happy to keep you wet though!

Is this an actual sexual play space?

Accepted Answer

No, but we strongly encourage you to check out the many other Bay Area resources and spaces for that. Linguistic and musical play are welcome; open and actual sexual activity is not. Engaging in sexual activity on-site will result in removal from the event.

Question 4

What is prohibited?

Accepted Answer

While we celebrate everyone's distinct sexuality, we do not allow stories or items related to illegal sexual behavior or assault. This space is for sharing and connection and we unequivocally prioritize safety. Violations of this rule will result in removal from the event.

Can I share a story?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please do! Come early and sign up to share on the mic. We love newbies and we love budding artists who just want others to witness their art and vulnerability.
