Love me or Die: Fan Veil Choreography
Fluttering silk, voodoo, and murder. In this workshop, participants will learn a fan veil choreography to a dark, jazzy tune while incorporating the two fan veils for tricks and framing for the entirety of the song. No fan veil experience necessary, but do bring your own fan veils.

I Heart Zills
Does dancing with Zills seem daunting? Don’t let it be! Zills are an almost lost art form, but are one of the most ubiquitous hallmarks of a bellydancer! Learn how to listen to the music to play effectively and not be overwhelmed by the idea of playing and dancing. We will also use “mnemonics” to help get a handle on the rhythms! Simple practice steps and basic rhythms will give you the means to “illustrate” the music and the moves. All levels.

Fragile Like a Bomb
Dynamism and contrast are essential to creating visual texture in a performance. Using a variety of combinations, this workshop explores the juxtaposition of sinuous, grounded belly dance technique with explosive, high-impact movement qualities.
