AAi and the APJCC warmly invite all to a fabulous, free kosher BBQ to celebrate Sukkot, a Jewish holiday associated with welcoming guests and appreciating the bounty of the fall harvest.
 
Enjoy fantastic food, family-friendly games, activities, and cultural mingling.
 
Sukkot is a week-long holiday known by several names. As the Festival of Booths (or Tabernacles), Sukkot is a time Jews welcome guests and take meals in sukkot (temporary outdoor structures). These booths commemorate God's miraculous protection as ancient Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years, living in booths (sukkot) after the Exodus. As the Festival of Ingathering, Sukkot also connects Jews to the harvest season while dwelling in booths richly decorated with nature’s bounty.
