Suffolk Homebirth Huddle

Come join us every month for the Suffolk Homebirth Huddle! Whether you're a soon-to-be parent, curious about homebirth or have had a homebirth and want to share your experience with others, this group is for you.

The evening will be held at The Flying Guardsman in Hadleigh, Suffolk on the first Thursday of every month. Everyone is welcome, whether you are local to Suffolk or not, and we would love to meet you. We will either be in the private upstairs area, or hopefully sat outside in the gardens if the sun is shining! Just ask the team when you arrive where we are and they will direct you.

Meet other families, chat with experienced independent midwives and doulas, and learn all about the empowering experience of giving birth at home. The evening will be a very casual evening with no "set discussions or plans" so that you can feel free to discuss homebirths with other families, or pick the brains of the experienced birthworkers supporting the group.

As we are all on-call birth workers, there is always the chance that we may not attend the group at last minute if we are called to a birth. Because there are a few of us supporting this group, this shouldn't happen, but every effort will be made to let you know this in advance. However, the beauty of the group means that parents can still meet up and chat all things homebirth, regardless of whether we are there or not!

Food and drink is available. Pre-orders for food need to be placed directly with The Flying Guardsman on 01473 827310 by the Sunday before the event. Please advised them that you are attending the homebirth group.

Free parking is available either directly on the high street or other free carparks are situated in Hadleigh within a short walking distance.
