  • Non-Profit Organizations
  • Planned & Emergency Situations

Succession Planning Viewed From the Perspectives of an Employee, a Customer, a Board member, and a Manager

Key Ingredients for Successful Leadership Transitions

Attorney Walter Tilley will discuss:

  • Non-compete Agreements. Are they enforceable? Is there a difference between an employee’s non-compete agreement and a non-compete agreement made in conjunction with the sale or purchase of a business?
  • Non-solicitation Agreements. What is the difference between a non-solicitation agreement and a non-compete agreement? When are they the right choice?
  • Confidentiality Agreements. Are they still legal under the National Labor Relations Act? How can you protect trade secrets and other proprietary information?

Attorney Matthew Stellfox provides more information on the Corporate Transparency Act:

  • Who must file
  • Basics of the filing process

A light lunch will be available at 11:30 a.m., with the seminar promptly beginning at noon. The deadline to register in person is May 2.
