Description

SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING IN TODAY’S ENVIRONMENT

This event is for Senior Women VCs and

Experienced Senior Level Women Entrepreneurs

Whether you’re an experienced investor wanting to get exposure to today’s fundraising market or an emerging manager wanting to start your own fund, you’ve probably read about and listened to what it takes to execute a successful fundraise. You’ve found great advice on: having a unique and differentiated strategy, getting feedback on your idea, hiring your team, finding funding, and executing your plans. With women investing partners in very limited numbers, wouldn’t it be great to hear insights from other women like yourself on how they have successfully paved the way towards their first fund and raised additional funds from institutional investors?

We're offering a 6-session program that provides insights on key criteria to successfully raising a first or follow-on funds with discussions lead by women, once in your shoes, who have started their own successful firms: Susan Mason (Aligned Partners), Cindy Padnos (Illuminate Ventures), Cynthia Ringo (DBL Partners), Arlan Hamilton and Christie Pitts (Backstage Capital), and more. We will also gain insights from various LPs such as Mina Pacheco Nazemi, founder/Managing Partner of Aldea Capital and formerly a partner at GCM Grosvenor/CSFB, who dedicates her time to investing in the underserved markets and investing with women and diverse managers. She has also been a champion for emerging managers and has structured and invested a number of impact investment vehicles on behalf of large institutional investors.

In addition, we will thereafter have a 6-session program in which you will gain exposure to a number of LPs with whom you can ask pertinent fundraising questions in a more intimate setting and begin to understand LP perspectives and to potentially build rapport with members of the LP community.

Join us starting this January for these fundraising roundtable sessions...
