Overview

Create a map-zine inspired by your memories and experiences using collage, illustration, hand-lettering, and simple binding.

This hands-on workshop explores the art of subjective mapmaking. Participants will examine their memories and experiences of the city and draw on these reflections to create map-zines using illustration, collage, hand-lettering, and simple binding. The zines will transform personal experiences into spatial narratives that capture the intangible qualities of our environments.

This workshop will take place at District Riso's studio at 52 O Street NW, Unit L6, Washington, DC 20001.

Please note: this is a collage and zine workshop and does not include risograph printing.
