This hands-on workshop explores the art of subjective mapmaking. Participants will examine their memories and experiences of the city and draw on these reflections to create map-zines using illustration, collage, hand-lettering, and simple binding. The zines will transform personal experiences into spatial narratives that capture the intangible qualities of our environments.This workshop will take place at District Riso's studio at 52 O Street NW, Unit L6, Washington, DC 20001.Please note: this is a collage and zine workshop and does not include risograph printing.
