The BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Promotion at Sunderland helps students to consider the whole fashion market, analyse future trends, develop brands, garment construction, learn the marketing mix, understand visual merchandising, create promotional materials, learn graphic design, styling and photography as well as giving them access to our fashion journalism expertise. In the 2nd year one of the key modules covers planning and managing events, including our annual fashion show.
This year we're thrilled to be hosting our fashion show at the beautiful, historic Durham Town Hall. The hall has provided the perfect inspiration for the aesthetic theme of the show whilst providing easy access for all visitors, being on the main trainline from London and just off the A1 and A19.
The fashion show will not only feature the incredible work of our 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students based at our Sunderland campus, but it will also include the beautiful work of our international students based in Tashkent and Singapore!
Although the fashion show gives the students the chance to showcase the work they've produced on the course to a wider audience, there is a serious side to the show - £6 of every ticket sale will go directly to the 2nd year Fashion Show fund which will ensure they can put on the best event possible - any remaining funds will go towards their Final Graduate Show in 2025.

Doors open at 6.45pm
Front row seats will be allocated to sponsors and invited VIP's only. All other seats will be offered on a first come first served basis.
Unfortunately not, the hall is old and we do not have permission to allow food and drink in the venue. There will be a 15 minute break when you will be able to leave the hall to purchase refreshments to consume off site.
Unfortunately alcohol is not permitted in the venue during our event. There are plenty of bars in the vicinity of the hall for pre or apres drinks.
Durham Town Hall doesn't have parking, however there are at least 2 public car parks within 5 mins walk from the Hall. We recommend Prince Bishops car park.
A lift provides access to all public areas in the Hall
