Study Tours for K-12 Educators

The Thomas R. Brown Foundation seeks to advance the use of economic principles in public and private decision making through strategic partnerships and educational programs. Our program goal is to equip teachers to increase student exposure to fundamental principles of economics in a neutral and nonpartisan way, and to help students develop an appreciation of how economic analysis applies to everyday choices as well as business and policy issues.

<p>Join us to learn about nearly free programs that send teachers abroad to enrich their curriculum. Educators who have participated in study tours (as recently as July 2021) to Iceland and Germany will share their experiences, tips for a successful application, and instructional resources. Information about teacher study tour programs to other destinations will also be shared. </p><p>Two attendees will win $50 Amazon cards.</p>
