<p>CUBL Board Member Shannon Schmidt, M.A. leads a discussion of key church documents around race, rights, responsibilities, and social justice, focusing on the thread of solidarity brought out by Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. Looking at the founding statement of the National Black Catholic Clergy Caucus (United States) and the  USCCB document &quot;Open Wide Our Hearts,&quot; we&#x27;ll discuss key takeways from the Church&#x27;s teaching for the work of advocacy around racial justice.</p>
