Welcome to Studio Café!
Studio Cafe is a popup one-day cafe featuring pastries from Fareatsfirst and N/A cocktails from Salt+Acid, hosted in Ornella Bayigamba’s art studio.
A visual artist since 2024, Ornella’s evocative figurative paintings center women and children. Traces of her Rwandan heritage permeate her works and ground her practice in community.
Salt + Acid is a mobile sober bar that recreates the elevated cocktail bar experience, but without the presence or pressures of alcohol. Each pop-up features a one-time-only menu with drinks inspired by our Asian and Hispanic heritages. Everything is made from scratch with creativity and intention, and served with gracious hospitality.
Fareatsfirst is a popup rooted in a love for bringing people together and inspired by Farah’s upbringing in Jordan and the hospitality of her family’s matriarchs. Each popup menu is unique, built from scratch around Arabic flavors and served with care.

This Memorial Day weekend, we’re taking over Ornella’s studio in the fine arts building to host a cafe pop up. Studio cafe is this Sunday- There’ll be food from @fareatsfirst , drinks from @saltandacid.project and we’ll have two special vendors @bedawico and @cometics.byshay.
