The Sudbury Special Education Parent Advisory Council (Sudbury SEPAC) is a volunteer advisory council of families who collaborate with administrators, educators, and the School Committee for Sudbury Public Schools to continuously improve student outcomes and well-being. Sudbury SEPAC also servesas a resource to local families of students with disabilities.

<h3>Presented by The Massachusetts Partnership for Youth</h3><p>Students identified with High Functioning ASD, formerly known as Asperger&#x27;s Syndrome, present behaviors that require more subtle and relationship-oriented interventions compared to an ABA approach. This presentation reviews some of the challenges inherent in this diagnostic profile, including addressing the question as to what interventions are necessary. This presentation will review the social skills challenges that students encounter, with specifics addressing the needs of young students vs. adolescents.</p>
