"SEEING THE UNSEEN": A PA STUDENT'S GUIDE TO THE EFAST"

Participants will practice image acquisiton and interpretation for rapid trauma assessment, building confidence in using POCUS in real-world clinical settings
By end of session, participants will be able to:
- Identify appropriate clinical indications and probe placement landmarks for performing the EFAST examination
- Acquire basic EFAST views (RUQ, LUQ, pelvic, cardiac, and anterior lung) using proper image optimization techniques
- Differentiate normal from abnormal findings consistent with free fluis, pericardial effusion, and pneumothorax in simulated cases
