Voices in Voting and the Department of Education are excited to host the inaugural Civics in Action Conference for 9th - 12th-grade students of Nevada. Be a part of our Civics Squad and participate in ways you can create a commUNITY! The day will be full of learning on how to be civically engaged within your community. Sessions will include:

• Community Connections

• Building Financial Wellness

• Voter Registration

• Town Hall Panel with State Legislators

• Town Hall Panel with city, county, school board, and federal elected officials

• Higher Education Opportunities

• Student Voice: How to become a student advocate for change

Limited availability to 100 students and 25 educators

Date & Time: Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Location: Nevada State Museum

Lunch is included and all participants will receive awesome SWAG!
