Speaker: Dennis YoungDennis has worked as an Architectural Consultant with Sierra Pacific Windows and Doors for over 16 years covering a large portion of Southern California working primarily with architects, designers and engineers. After graduating college, he worked in the coatings industry for several leading paint manufactures focusing on commercial applications and eventually working his way up to Architectural Services Manager. Eventually, when the timing was right, he and his wife Susan started their own interior design and furnishings business in San Diego in which after a start up period of a few years, he found himself “outsourced” due to its’ success. Realizing he truly enjoyed and missed working with architects &amp; the design community on their projects, he joined Sierra Pacific when they expanded their reach into San Diego county. He feels truly blessed with his family and the opportunities provided for by Sierra Pacific.Learning Objectives:<ul><li>Learn about product performance and how windows are rated in the fenestration industry.</li><li>Understand design criteria and the importance of component cladding and engineering.</li><li>Review details and pictures of different types of structural mulls: factory and field assembly, as well as techniques.</li><li>Compare different levels of shop drawings, from basic details and elevations, to performance requirements and installation methods.</li></ul>
