Structural Pest Management Webinar Series

The Structural Pest Management Webcast Lecture Series is designed to deliver online the same quality education as the physical 10-week certificate program (formerly the Structural Pest Management 10 Week Lecture Series Certificate Program), offered since 2006 on the UGA Griffin Campus.

The curriculum exposes students to various aspects of the pest management industry, including sales, customer service, and legal affairs. More than half of the lectures are about the identification, biology, and management of the most common urban pets found in Georgia.

The online format will contain virtual laboratory sessions as part of the lecture. Over the course of the laboratory sessions, students are shown specimens of the 100 or so most common insect pests most likely to be encountered in and around Georgia's urban environment.

Veterans of U.S. Military Service may attend the webcasts at no cost. To qualify, simply provide proof of Veteran Status - e.g., DD-214, etc. Email photo or scanned copy to gtbop@uga.edu. Once received the Center will email you with further instructions. Veterans are added to the email list serve to receive an invitation to future webcasts with the instructions on how to register.
