A client-centered non-profit, MESO is figuring out creative ways to engage and sustain while maintaining everyone’s safety.  Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon (MESO) formed as a grassroots initiative in 2005 under the umbrella of The Black United Fund of Oregon to assist small businesses that were experiencing challenges in the wake of gentrification, new development, and increased rents in North/Northeast Portland.

MESO Classes and Workshops

MESO offers classes and workshops to small businesses at all stages of development.

NOTICE: This event was rescheduled from Jan. 18 due to severe weather conditions. If you are an existing business owner, someone brand new to business, or you have a business idea you are passionate about, we invite you to join us for Stronger Together: a small business networking event hosted by MESO and the Tigard Economic Development team at the Tigard Library. Our goal with this event is to strengthen the small business communities across Oregon and SW Washington. When you attend, you will have an opportunity to share about your business or idea, learn from other industry professionals, engage with MESO advisors, and build community. Stronger Together is free for all to attend and we will provide snacks and refreshments. We hope to see you there! Invite a friend if you can, too.
