🌟 Join us for a Fun and Free Stroller Strides Class at Athleta in International Plaza! 🌟

Calling all moms and little ones to experience a workout that's designed to keep you and your little one active and engaged. In partnership with International Plaza, Burn on Bay Street presents a special "Mom and Me" Stroller Strides class, hosted in collaboration with Athleta.

  • 📅 Date: Saturday, May 18th
  • ⏰ Time: 8:45AM Registration, 9AM-10AM Workout, 10:30AM Shopping at Athleta
  • 🏢 Venue: Athleta International Plaza
  • 📍 Location: 2223 N Westshore Blvd
  • 🚗 Park: Park on the bottom level of the parking garage between Dillard's and Nieman Marcus. This will be the only entrance available to enter to get to Athleta before 10AM.

During class, our certified fitness instructors will lead you through a dynamic workout that incorporates cardio, strength training, and core exercises. And the best part? You get to do it all with your little one by your side in their stroller! We also incorporate FUN for baby during class such as songs, tickles, and bubbles!

WHERE SHOULD WE PARK?

Park on the bottom level of the parking garage between Dillard's and Nieman Marcus. This will be the only entrance available to enter to get to Athleta before 10AM.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

For you: water, towel, yoga mat, or blanket, sunscreen, and comfortable exercise shoes and clothing. For your littles: snacks, toys, diaper bag essentials, and any type of stroller. Your instructor will provide a resistance band for strength training.

I JUST HAD A BABY, WHEN CAN I JOIN STROLLER CLASSES?

You can begin attending class with your doctor's clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment. See you there, mama!

CAN I ATTEND CLASSES IF I AM PREGNANT?

Absolutely! We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise throughout their pregnancies as long as everything has been approved by their physician. DO I NEED TO BE A RUNNER TO ATTEND THESE CLASSES?

Absolutely not! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We meet for a warm up, then power walk or jog to each exercise station. You exercise at the pace you feel most comfortable.

AT WHAT AGE CAN MY BABY BE IN A JOGGER?

As a general guideline, when your baby can hold his/her head up, he/she can ride in a jogger. But, we suggest that you follow your own stroller manufacturer’s guidelines. You can use a head roll and bolster to make your baby even more secure. With shock absorbers and recline features, the age can be

DO I NEED A JOGGING STROLLER FOR THE WORKOUT?

Jogging strollers are not required. As long as the stroller is sturdy, not prone to tipping and all children can be safely strapped into their seats for the duration of class, it will work just fine!

MY BABY DOESN'T LIKE BEING IN THE STROLLER, GETS FUSSY OR I NEED TO FEED?

Our classes are designed to keep the kids moving and engaged by incorporating songs and various props to keep them engaged. With that said, if you need to change, nurse or console your baby, please do so - remember, you are in good company.

CAN MY OLDER CHILDREN WALK ALONG OR RIDE THEIR BIKE DURING CLASS?

Safety is our first priority, so we do not allow kids to be out of the stroller during class, regardless of age.
