Stroll for Hope to End Suicide

Come join us for a meaningful day at Lake Andrea as we walk together to raise awareness and support for suicide prevention. This in-person event is a great opportunity to connect with others who share the same goal of spreading hope and honoring those lost to suicide. Let's take steps towards building community that offers support, understanding and encouragement to Survivors of Suicide Loss. See you there!

Frequently asked questions

Where do the funds go?

All funds raised through Stroll for Hope supports the Kenosha Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group. The group is supported under the Center for Suicide Awareness, a non-profit 501c3 organization.

Does every participant get a t-shirt?

If you register by May 8th you will receive a t-shirt. Those who register after the deadline might not receive a t-shirt. Any participants that are 10 & under will not receive a t-shirt.

Is there a registration fee?

Yes, the registration fee is $30. Participants 10 & under are free.

Can I register the day of the walk?

Yes, can register day of the walk, however you areno t guaranteed a t-shirt.

What happens if it rains on walk day?

Stroll for Hope is a rain or shine event. In case of severe weather, the event may be cancelled or posted. This information will be shared through e-mail.

Can I bring a pet to the walk?

We ask that pets not be part of the walk for safety reasons. Thank you for understanding. Service dogs are welcome.

How long is the Stroll for Hope Event?

The walk around Lake Andrea is 2.3 miles. We kindly request that participants in the walk do not use any wheeled transportation. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.
