String Theory - Intermediate Abstract Embroidery Workshop

Join us for an abstract embroidery workshop for advanced sewing hosted by artist Danielle Clough.

Paradigm Arts Building

Over the course of three days, we will discover basic colour theory and how to create colour palettes from items you love. We will learn to apply these by exploring colour-blending, explore different techniques and materials. Our final piece will be created through our own image, using collage to break free of the pressure of perfection, and indulging in play and exploration. In this class, you will discover your own voice in this amazing threaded medium and go home with a juicy, bespoke kit.The workshop will occur from Friday, August 25th through Sunday, August 27th from 11AM - 5PM each dayBasic to advanced sewing experience is required.
