Strides for Schools 2019

The NKEF is proud to present the Strides for Schools.  This will consist of several race opportunities to include the One Mile Apple Dash and the 5K Strides for Schools.  The proceeds for the event will benefit the New Kent Educaitonal Foundation and its various projects, such as: students scholarships, teacher grants, the theater department, homecoming events, and many other educational programs throughout the year. 
The New Kent Education Foundation (NKEF) channels community resources to promote and enhance educational opportunities for the students and staff of New Kent County Public Schools. The NKEF has provided grants to teachers in all 4 schools, scholarships to students, a technology resource library,  an annual CPR day, and a variety of other special projects.
This year a scholarship fund will be awarded to a New Kent High School student(s) in memory of Daryl Robinson.
