Join us for a hike up to McNeil Point, one of the best view points on Mt Hood! This one is a real burner but worth the effort! We recommend experienced hikers only for this 10 mile out & back trail with over 3k elevation gain.
We'll plan to meet at COFFEE BEER at 8am sharp to grab some caffeine, condense vehicles, and hit the road! We expect the hike to take a minimum of 6 hours and expect to be back in Portland around 6pm, potentially later. There is no service at the trailhead, so meeting up in Portland is necessary.
We will be hiking rain or shine so please pack for the weather accordingly. The event will only be cancelled if the weather is severe or road/trail conditions seem unsafe. We will keep an eye on trail conditions, and if there is too much snow, we will pivot to another challenging hike.
As a reminder, pets and other animals should be left at home unless they are a service animals.
