The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to join Education Specialist Tommy Nordmann to explore Spruce Creek and Strickland Bay on a two-hour paddling trip. Learn about the unique plants and animals that make this salt marsh their home.

**Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.

ACTIVITY: A two-hour moderate paddling trip. Difficulty will depend on the wind and currents.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, your are not registered.

TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.

AGES: Ages 12 and up are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

ATTIRE: Wear clothing and shoes that can get wet.

WHAT TO BRING: Watercraft (kayak, canoe, or SUP), paddle, personal flotation device (must be worn while paddling), whistle, water to drink, sunscreen, and bug spray

FACILITIES: There will be a port-a-potty but no running water.
