Welcome to stress less yoga at Art From the Hart! You are invited to join Valerie for a stress/trauma-sensitive yoga class. This event is not just for those that have experienced trauma, but rather is open to anyone in need of creating some safety and stability within their nervous system. We hope to create a safe-enough space to use physical movements in order to build upon body awareness by working with different parts of the brain. The event will open with some grounding and breath-work, and then work up to some all-level yoga postures/asanas. Variation will be provided and props are encouraged. The event will end with a cool down and savasana, in order to settle back to a naturally rested state before heading home.
Feel free to bring your own mat, blanket, pillows/bolsters, blocks, or any other props you choose.
