ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Yael Amiel-Schiff - educational counselor, family therapist, and researcher.
Yael is a doctoral student at Ariel University and an educational counselor specializing in family therapy. Drawing from her personal Aliyah story from Belgium with her husband and children, supporting others through similar challenges has become my vocation

Designing a research-based model and parenting skills program tailored specifically for immigrant families in Israel is a crucial endeavor. This initiative is geared towards providing families of olim with a nuanced comprehension of the unique challenges and processes involved in relocating to Israel. By offering evidence-based strategies and tools, the program aims to empower these families with the capabilities to navigate the adjustment period effectively. This approach not only fosters resilience but also facilitates a smoother integration into Israeli society, enhancing the overall well-being and success of immigrant families.
