Streamkeeping Training
Free environmental stewardship workshop open to all! Learn about indicators of a stream's health and how to protect it.
Come to Noons Creek Hatchery to receive formal streamkeeping training! In this workshop, gain skills to assess stream health and steward riparian environments. Topics covered include water quality surveying, invertebrate sampling and riparian vegetation planting, and juvenile fish ID. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the day. This workshop will be taught by trainers ZoAnn Morten and Dianne Ramage from the Pacific Streamkeepers Foundation and hosted by the Port Moody Ecological Society.
