Strawberry Fields Forever

Karen Hillman is a mixed media artist and award-winning photographer. She describes her work as “Vintage Finery” as her art pieces encompass using forgotten items from eras of the past, and reinventing them into extraordinary treasures. Her style is romantic and ethereal and some of her favorite works are her angels, fairies, and one-of-a-kind religious pieces. Karen’s art studio is located within her charming storybook home located in Frederick, Maryland. Fondly called, “The Cozy Castle”,  she hosts her unique classes and retreats at The Cozy Castle, around the country and abroad.

This is an extra special field trip to historic Plant City, known as the strawberry capital of Florida. All of the places we are visiting are family owned, incredible venues which have been in existence for years. These are all of the things this special outing includes:

<LI>Passenger Van Transportation</LI>
<LI>Visit Historic Parksdale Farm Market (an incredible Strawberry lovers heaven on earth!)</LI>
<LI>A famous strawberry milkshake</LI>
<LI>A pint of Plant City strawberries to take home</LI>
<LI>Shopping time at antique and thrift stores in downtown Plant City</LI>
<LI>A visit to TT Tub Treats Bath and Body Shop to see them in action making their bath products along with a strawberry take-home bath treat.</LI>
<LI>Fried Chicken lunch at The Famous Johnson BBQ restaurant (smokin' since 1954!)</LI>
</UL>
Wear comfortable shoes and meet me at The Cozy Castle at 8:30 am and will return around 5 pm. At least six ladies required for this trip to take place. If for any reason the class does not fill, you will be notified and your ticket price will be refunded.
This is a wonderful chance to step out and explore a quaint town and enjoy all of its highlights!
