Stop the Bleed Training

Hosted by the Medical Reserve Corp of Spokane County

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Stop the Bleed course teaches participants to recognize life-threatening bleeding and how to act quickly to control bleeding with three techniques. More than 4 million people worldwide have learned these techniques through this ACS course. Participants who complete the training with receive a certificate of completion and Stop the Bleed kit that includes:

• 1 permanent marker
• 2 pairs of gloves
• 1 C-A-T tourniquet
• 1 Emergency Bandage
• 1 Pair of trauma shears
