NOTICE: Due to the University of Connecticut's directives regarding COVID-19 and safety precautions to be taken during the Spring 2020 semester, ALL of our training classes and meetings scheduled BEFORE May 21st, 2020, have been CANCELLED. We will be working to offer limited classes in summer 2020 starting on May 21st with National Stop the Bleed Day, although this is subject to change depending on the university's status at that time. Thank you for your understanding.
This 1.5 hour class is designed to teach people of all medical and non-medical backgrounds what to do in the case of a life-threatening bleeding emergency before emergency services arrive on scene. A bleeding emergency can result from almost anything, from a car accident to a simple fall. In this class, learn to stop a major bleeding incident in any scenario. You could potentially save a life! This class is 1.5 hours long and will include an interactive learning session in a relaxed setting. Each student who completes the class will receive a certificate of completion.
 
UConn Rescue Cancellation Policy: 
You must cancel at least 7 days (as measured by 24 hour increments from the start time of the class) before your scheduled class in order to receive a refund for your class payment.  In order to cancel your registration, transfer your registration or request a refund please use the Eventbrite site and your confirmation email to do so.  No refunds will be given within 7 days (as measured by 24 hour increments from the start time of the class) of your registered class.
