Basic training in Bleeding Control is needed to provide immediate, frontline aid until first responders are able to take over the care of an injured person. Due to many situations, there may be a delay between the time of injury and the time a first responder is on the scene. Without immediate response in these situations, preventable deaths will occur.
The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma is leading the effort to save lives by teaching participants to provide vital initial response to stop uncontrolled hemorrhage in emergency situations. This will be accomplished by attending this comprehensive and sustainable bleeding control course. ANYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.
The Lee Stoll Conference Room is located on the 1st floor of the main hospital building. If you do not have an assigned parking area on campus, please park in the Vista Avenue Visitor's parking garage and bring your ticket with you for validation.  The conference room is inside the cafeteria's seating area.
